In her photographs, Liz Clayman explores the mark modern culture leaves on place through both the presence and the absence of people. An eye for color, humor and nostalgia make these images captivating in their strangeness, yet familiar in their intimate nature. Liz Clayman grew up on the rocky coast of Maine and received her B.A. in Photography from Bennington College. She currently lives and shoots in Brooklyn, New York.
